Most HVAC companies send whoever’s available. We send people whose names you’ll know before they pull into your driveway. Our San Antonio crew is small by design. Every technician who walks through your door is background-checked, uniformed, and badged under the Threshold Verified standard. But the bigger point is simpler than that. These are people who live in San Antonio, work in San Antonio, and understand what a 102-degree August afternoon does to a condenser that hasn’t been cleaned since spring. You’ll recognize the same face on every visit. That’s not an accident.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus R. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on residential HVAC equipment for over a decade, most of it right here in San Antonio. He holds an EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling and specializes in diagnosing the kind of intermittent electrical faults that leave other techs guessing. Carrier, Trane, Goodman, Rheem – he’s worked on all of them and has strong opinions about which ones hold up best in South Texas humidity, though he’ll keep those to himself unless you ask. Off the clock, Marcus rebuilds old motorcycles in his garage. He says it keeps his hands honest. His wife disagrees about the garage space.
Lena V. – Senior Installer
Lena runs our install crew, which means she’s the one measuring ductwork, calculating load, and making sure a new system actually fits the house instead of just the concrete pad. She came to HVAC from residential construction, so she notices things about framing and airflow that most installers miss. Lena is NATE-certified in air conditioning installation and takes an almost personal offense to sloppy line-set routing. She grew up in San Antonio and knows the older neighborhoods well – the pier-and-beam houses in Monte Vista throw different challenges than the slab foundations out in Alamo Ranch, and she plans for that before the equipment ever arrives. She keeps a running list of the best breakfast tacos within ten minutes of every supply house in the city.
Dana K. – Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call at 2 a.m. because your furnace quit during a rare San Antonio freeze, or at noon on a Saturday because the AC stopped blowing cold. She’s been dispatching HVAC techs for seven years and has the calm, unflappable tone of someone who has talked more than one homeowner through a breaker reset while a technician was still en route. Dana knows every tech’s schedule, every neighborhood they’re working in, and exactly how long it realistically takes to get from one side of Loop 410 to the other at rush hour. She’s also the reason our technicians show up knowing your name, your address, and what they’re likely walking into before they knock.
Chris T. – Apprentice Technician
Chris is the newest member of the crew and the one you’ll most often see shadowing Marcus on repair calls or handing tools to Lena during an install. He’s enrolled in a registered HVAC apprenticeship program and logs classroom hours between service calls. Chris grew up in San Antonio and joined the trades right out of high school because, in his words, he wanted a career where the work actually matters when it’s 100 degrees outside. He’s learning refrigerant handling, electrical diagnostics, and the fine art of explaining a failed capacitor to a homeowner without making their eyes glaze over. Chris is the reason we can say our next generation of techs is being trained to the same standard we’ve held since 2003.
One Standard, Every Job
The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a marketing line. It’s the instruction manual for how this team operates on every call in San Antonio. Here’s what that looks like in practice. You get a written price before any work starts, no exceptions, and that price doesn’t change halfway through because we found something unexpected. If we find something, we stop and show you before we touch it. Every repair includes a written guarantee that spells out exactly what’s covered and for how long. And if we get it wrong, we come back free under the promise, no argument, no invoice. Devin Marlowe, Owner of Brandt HVAC Co San Antonio, put that promise in writing because he believes a repair isn’t finished until it stays fixed through a full Texas summer and a full Texas winter. The team you just read about is the group responsible for making that true.
